The D3 Center has established the following research divisions to accelerate development of the University of Osaka’s information infrastructure, promote informatization, advance information services, and innovate educational activities utilizing these resources:

The Director oversees the administration and management, assisted by the Vice Director.
The “D3 Center Faculty Council” has been established to deliberate on necessary matters related to education and research at the D3 Center.
The “D3 Center Joint Usage/Research Center Steering Committee” has been established to respond to the Director’s consultations regarding the general principles of operation as a nationwide joint usage facility and to promote mutual cooperation among related institutions regarding the Center’s research activities and overall operations.
The “Strategic Planning Office” has been established to support the Center’s educational and research activities and operations.
The “Initiative for Life Design Innovation” has been established to oversee the projects of the University of Osaka Life Design Innovation Research Hub.
About the Institute for Digital Innovation
The Institute for Digital Innovation was established to organically collaborate with the D3 Center, consolidate information-related functions within the university, and seamlessly accelerate information promotion at the University of Osaka. While the D3 Center is positioned as a subordinate organization of the Institute for Digital Innovation, it is an independent department, and its department name is “D3 Center.”
