RESEARCH DATA MANAGEMENT AND OPEN ACCESS SERVICES
Overview
D3 Center, in collaboration with the Open Science Promotion Office, provides Research Data Management System and Open Access Environment for Research Outcomes. Research funded by public research funds solicited after April 2025 is required to make both the resulting academic papers and supporting data immediately open access. The Open Science Promotion Office provides a “Comprehensive Research Management Support System” that assists with creating Data Management Plans (DMPs) for accepted research projects, managing data generated or collected during research, and making academic papers and supporting data open access.
Using the data aggregation platform ONION provided by the D3 Center, data generated and aggregated during research can be stored, shared with collaborators, and published in a searchable format within the “institutional repository or similar information infrastructure2 required by public research funding (Note 1).
